Chris is active and engaged in our community, volunteering as President of the Lorain International Association board, Secretary of the board for Second Harvest Food Bank, Chair of the Sheffield Lake Civil Service Commission, and was the former Central Committee Chair of the Lorain County Democratic Party. He also sponsors local youth sports and community events.
Meet Attorney Christopher Rewak
Experience
Through his private law practice, Chris advocates for families in custody and divorce matters and children as a guardian ad litem, and has represented the rights of defendants, delinquent children, and victims. Chris believes that all deserve access to justice and has consistently accepted pro bono and Modest Means cases through the Lorain County Bar Association to ensure families in crisis and victims of domestic violence are represented. Before and during law school, Chris spent a decade as a case manager working with young people and their families to reduce court involvement. Chris has been counsel for multiple specialty dockets, including Juvenile Recovery Court and Family Reunification Court, providing a pathway out of the court system. He also serves as an Acting Judge for the Lorain Municipal Court, hearing the same cases the next judge will preside over.
